Kishor Wasan has been given a lot of awards for his work in the field of health sciences, including the Canadian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences Leadership Award for making a big difference in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in Canada. He is also a member of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. If you look at his work, you can find over 240 peer-reviewed articles and 280 abstracts. Kishor Wasan works in the field of lipid-based drug delivery and lipoprotein-drug interactions. In the last few years, Dr. Wasan served as Dean for the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan. This job was from August 2014 to June 2019. First, Dr. Wasan will work on partnerships and collaborations to help iCo 019 grow. He led the research team at the Wasan lab at the University of British Columbia that made iCo 019 possible.
It was Kishor Wasan's job to help with research at the University of British Columbia until 2014. He was also a tenured professor there. Doctor Wasan has been involved in the development of new research and educational programs for a long time. He has written more than 520 peer review articles and abstracts in top journals. He has shown that he is good at leading research projects through his 19 years of independent research at UBC. Wasan got his undergraduate pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He then got a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology from the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, where he worked. In the past, Dr. Kishor Wasan has worked as a pharmacist in both the retail and hospital settings. He still holds a pharmacist license from the State of Texas.
It's also worth noting that Kishor Wasan is also a distinguished university scholar and a research chair in drug delivery for diseases that aren't well-known in the world. He is also a member of the American Association for Pharmaceutical Scientists, the Canadian Society of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, among many other groups. As a researcher and educator, he is well-known in the post-secondary field because of his skills.
